FAQ & First Visit Guide

Everyone, every visit, regardless of age. We check ID at the register rather than at the door, so browse freely and have it ready when you are ready to buy.

Washington accepts these forms of ID:

• Driver's license, instruction permit, or ID card from any U.S. state, U.S. territory, or Washington D.C.
• Driver's license, instruction permit, or ID card from any Canadian province
• Valid Washington State temporary driver's license
• U.S. Armed Forces ID card
• Merchant Marine ID card issued by the U.S. Coast Guard
• Official passport, passport card, Global Entry card, Permanent Resident card ("green card"), or NEXUS card
• Washington State Tribal Enrollment Card

Your ID has to show your date of birth, your photo, and your signature. U.S. Military IDs are the exception on the signature. It also has to be unexpired, with one exception: Washington State Tribal Enrollment Cards do not require an expiration date.

No ID, no sale. There is no version of this where we make an exception, so please bring it.

Only if you are a Washington medical patient with a medical cannabis recognition card. Being medically endorsed means we can welcome patients that non-endorsed stores legally cannot:

• 18 to 20 with a medical cannabis recognition card: Come on in and shop for yourself.
• Under 18 with a medical cannabis recognition card: You are welcome inside alongside your designated provider, though they will handle the purchase.

Just bring the card and we will take care of the verification at the counter.

Otherwise, the store is 21 and over. That is state law and it applies to everyone, including babies and small children, so please plan ahead.

Service animals are always welcome. Pets we have to ask you to leave at home.

No. State law requires every cannabis sale to happen in person at the licensed store, so pickup is as close as it gets anywhere in the state.

The good news is pickup is easy. Order ahead on the menu and we will have it bagged and waiting, so you are in and out quickly.

Browse the menu, build your order, and check out for in-store pickup. Bring your ID to the counter and we will have it ready.

Our menu updates as inventory moves in the store. We set the menu to drop items before they are completely gone, so if something is listed we should have it. Placing your order online is the surest way to have a specific item waiting for you.

We hold pickup orders until close of business the same day. After that the products go back on the floor, and you are welcome to reorder.

Cash, or a debit card transaction at the register. Credit cards are not allowed under current federal banking rules.

Paying by debit card here works a little differently than you may be used to. The transaction runs as an ATM withdrawal rather than a purchase:

• You enter your PIN, the same as you would for debit
• The amount rounds up to the nearest $5
• You get the difference back as cash
• A $3.50 fee applies

For example, a $32 order rounds up to $35, $3 comes back to you in cash, and $38.50 leaves your account.

There are also ATMs inside the store if you would rather pull cash first. Same $3.50 fee.

Prefer to skip the fee entirely? Bring cash.

Washington sets per-transaction limits by product category. For customers 21 and over, a single transaction is limited to:

• Useable cannabis (flower): 1 ounce
• Solid edibles: 16 ounces
• Concentrates and extracts for inhalation: 7 grams
• Liquid edibles, and topicals applied to the skin: 72 ounces
• Infused products otherwise taken into the body: 10 units

These categories stack, so hitting the flower limit does not stop you buying concentrates or edibles in the same transaction. State law allows any combination of the amounts above.

A slightly different limit applies to liquid products packaged in individual units of 4mg THC or less; ask at the counter if that comes up.

Start low and go slow, whatever the format. A lot of newer customers begin with flower or a single pre-roll. Others prefer low-dose edibles or drinks because the serving size is measured for you and there is nothing to inhale.

The most useful thing you can tell a budtender is how you would like to feel and how long you would like it to last. They will explain onset time, duration, and potency for each format and let you decide.

Higher amounts, at a medically endorsed store like ours. A single transaction for a patient or designated provider entered in the state medical cannabis authorization database is limited to:

• Useable cannabis (flower): 3 ounces
• Solid edibles: 48 ounces
• Concentrates and extracts for inhalation: 21 grams
• Liquid edibles: 216 ounces

One thing worth knowing: these limits apply to patients and designated providers who have been entered into the state database and issued a medical cannabis recognition card. They do not apply to anyone who only holds an authorization form from a health care professional. With an authorization but no medical cannabis recognition card, you are held to the standard limits listed under "How much can I buy in one visit?" at any store.

Additionally, cardholders pay no cannabis excise tax and no sales tax on DOH-compliant products purchased at a medically endorsed store like ours.

Getting entered in the database is something we can do for you here. Bring your authorization and a valid ID and one of our consultants will walk you through it.

Somewhere private such as a home is the simplest answer. Washington does not allow cannabis use in public spaces such as parking lots, sidewalks, parks, and vehicles.

Keep it in Washington state, as well. Crossing a state line with cannabis is a federal offense even when both states allow it. Idaho does not allow it at all. Worth planning around if you are headed east.

We know none of that is convenient, especially if you are visiting from out of town, so it is worth thinking through before you buy. Ask us if you are unsure. We would rather talk it over at the counter than have you find out the hard way.

Once you are home, keep everything stored securely and out of reach of kids and pets. And remember that driving impaired is illegal.

If hardware fails on you, bring it back and we will make it right:

• Vape cartridges: within 14 days, with at least half the oil remaining
• Batteries: within 30 days
• Anything else: visit us and we will find the best way to sort it out

Bring the receipt and the original packaging along with the product. The packaging carries the barcode and lot number, which is how we identify the exact unit you bought. Without it, we cannot process the return, so hang onto the box until you are sure a cart or battery is working.

One thing we cannot do is take a product back once it leaves the store because it was not quite what you hoped for. So please ask everything first. We do not mind the questions.
